"Das Private wird politisch": interdisziplinäre Perspektiven auf autobiografisches Schreiben im Horizont von Erinnerungskulturen und Zeitgeschichte

Abstract:
Der Essay beschäftigt sich mit der Gattung Autobiografie als Teil von Erinnerungskulturen in Ost- und Westdeutschland. Die literarische Gattung Autobiografie wird aus einer soziologischen Perspektive betrachtet. Während sich für die Literaturwissenschaften die Gattungsfrage aufzulösen scheint, kann festgehalten werden, dass diese nach wie vor in öffentlichen Diskursen funktioniert. Aus diesem Grund sind Autobiografien in politischen und zeitgeschichtlichen Kontexten wirksam und werden als solche wahrgenommen. Der vorgeschlagene Ansatz geht daher davon aus, dass Autobiografien einerseits eine intentionale Form der Sozialkommunikation darstellen, die gerahmt und beeinflusst wird von öffentlichen Erinnerungskulturen, andererseits aber auch auf diese aus einer subjektiven Perspektive einwirkt. Aus dieser Sicht sind Autobiografien keine individuellen oder autonomen, sondern an eine Öffentlichkeit adressierte Lebensgeschichten. Durch diese Öffentlichkeitsadressierungen sind Lebens- und Zeitgeschichte in Autobiografien politisch aufgeladen. Mit anderen Worten: "Das Private wird politisch". ; This essay focuses on autobiographical life-writing as a part of commemorative culture, i.e. in East and West Germany. It looks at the literary genre from a sociological point of view. Whereas in literature studies autobiography is seen as a blurred genre, it can be asserted that it functions in public discourse. Hence, autobiographies are an important medium in political and contemporary historical context and are seen to be effective within that context. This essay assumes that published autobiographies are an intentional form of social communication, within the context of and affected by the public culture of remembering. The autobiographies themselves influence these cultures of remembering from the subjective point of view. In this regard, life-writing is not an individual or autonomous act of narrating one's life but rather a social communicative act of writing and narrating life stories in public contexts. Therefore life-writing is a public form of self and contemporary history representation and is politically charged. In other words, "the private becomes political" by addressing it to the public. ; El ensayo se centra en la escritura de vida autobiográfica como parte de una cultura conmemorativa, por ejemplo en la Alemania del este y del oeste. Observa al género literario desde un punto de vista sociológico. Mientras que en los estudios literarios, la autobiografía es vista como un género borroso, puede decirse que funciona como discurso público, Por lo tanto, las autobiografías son un importante medio en el contexto político e histórico contemporáneo y son efectivas en ese contexto. Este ensayo afirma que las autobiografías publicadas son una forma intencional de comunicación social en el contexto de y afectadas por la cultura pública del recuerdo. Las autobiografías por sí mismas influyen estas culturas del recuerdo desde el punto de vista subjetivo. En este sentido, escribir una vida no es un acto individual o autónomo de narrar la propia vida sino más bien un acto social comunicativo de escribir y narrar historias de vida en contextos públicos. Por lo tanto, escribir una vida es una forma pública de representación histórica propia y contemporánea y está políticamente cargada. En otras palabras: "Lo privado deviene político" frente al público.
