; The Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neuropsychiatric condition wich behavioral manifestations have been considered as originated from deficits in neurocognitive processes, such as executive functions (EF) and theory of mind (ToM). Language development is closely linked to intentionality development in communication. There are studies that relate EF and the ability to understand the intentions of the speaker indicating that deficits in communication development may underlie the executive dysfunctions. Thus, this paper aimed to investigate the language skills, EF and the ability to formulate ToM of a child with ASD without intellectual deficit. Discursive deficits presented relationship between EF and ToM alterations, concatenating pragmatic aspects of language and cognitive skills assessed in this study.
