Bilinguale Kinder wurden sowohl in ihrer türkischen als auch in ihrer deutschen phonologischen Bewusstheit getestet. Für diese Forschung entwickelten wir ein neues Instrument, das die türkische phonologische Bewusstheit misst. Beim Vergleich von bilingualen mit monolingualen Kindern zeigten türkisch-österreichische Kinder eine andere Entwicklung in Bezug auf phonologische Bewusstheit und Lesen als österreichische. Österreichische Kinder aus der ersten Schulstufe zeigen, dass die phonologische Bewusstheit einen Einfluss auf die Lesegenauigkeit hat, was aber nicht in der zweiten Schulstufe der Fall ist. Wir haben gegensätzliche Ergebnisse bei türkisch-österreichischen Kindern. Bei ihnen gab es keinen Einfluss von der Lesegenauigkeit auf die phonologische Bewusstheit, sehr wohl aber bei Kinder in der zweiten Schulstufe. Nur das Sprachverständnis eines bilingualen Kindes in der ersten Schulstufe zeigte einen Einfluss auf die deutsche phonologische Bewusstheit. Dies war aber auch ein signifikantes Anzeichen für deutsche phonologische Bewusstheit bei türkischen und deutschen Kindern in der zweiten Schulstufe. Innerhalb unseren Forschungen gab es einen Einfluss der Benennungsgeschwindigkeit auf die phonologische Bewusstheit von Kindern der ersten Schulstufe mit Muttersprache Deutsch. Außerdem zeigte sich, dass tür-kisch-österreichische Kinder, die eine gute oder schlechte phonologische Bewusstheit in der Erstsprache haben, auch eine gute oder schlechte phonologische Bewusstheit in der Zweitsprache besitzen. ; About 144 Turkish-Austrian bilingual children and Austrian monolingual children from the first and second grades have been tested in phonological awareness, reading accuracy, rapid naming and German language proficiency. Bilingual children have been both tested in their Turkish and German phonological awareness. For this research we conducted a new instrument, which measures Turkish phonological awareness. Comparing bilingual children to monolingual children, Turkish-Austrian children show a different trend when it comes to phonological awareness and reading than Austrian children. First grade Austrian children show that the phonological awareness has an impact on reading accuracy but no more for Austrian children in the second grades. We have found contrary results for Turkish-Austrian children. There was no impact of reading accuracy to phonological awareness for the first grades but an impact of reading accuracy to phonological awareness for the second grades. Only the speech comprehension of a bilingual child within the first grade has shown an impact to the German phonological awareness. But it was also a significant predictor for the German phonological awareness for the second grades with Turkish and German children. Within our results there was an impact of rapid naming to the phonological awareness for the first grade German native speaker children. Furthermore it has shown that Turkish-Austrian children who have a good or bad phonological awareness in their first language also have a good or bad phonological awareness in the second language.
