Abstract:
Revue du Gerflint ; International audience ; French language enjoyed for long an old Francophil tradition in Spain and the strong establishment of the network French Alliance network. Thus, it dominated in the Spanish education system until the middle of the 20th century without any intervention of the French State to ensure its diffusion. Its decline which started under Franco, required however the implementation of a linguistic and educational policy, which leads to a first bilateral agreement. This one supports in particular the teaching in French development within the laic Mission network, but it had few effects in the Spanish school where French was relegated to a second foreign language status. However, after Spain joined Europe, it recreated, together with France, a new dynamics for French, especially through the successful bilingual sections. The French language, considered now a useful communication and work language is taught according to a communicative methodology, which is more adapted to socio-economic facts. ; El francés benefició mucho tiempo en España de una vieja tradición francófila y de la fuerte implantación de la red de la Alianza Francesa. Así pues, prevaleció en el sistema educativo español hasta la mitad del siglo XX sin intervención del Estado francés para garantizar su difusión. Su descenso, empezado bajo Franco, requirió no obstante la instauración de una política lingüística y educativa compensatoria que consiguió un primer acuerdo bilateral que favoreció sobre todo el desarrollo de la enseñanza en francés en la red de la Misión laica pero tuvo pocos efectos a la escuela española donde el francés se volvió segunda lengua extranjera. Sin embargo, después de su adhesión a Europa, España reconstruyó, en asociación con la Francia, una nueva dinámica para el francés, en particular, gracias a las secciones bilingües que conocen un éxito que cruza. La lengua francesa, considerada ahora aún más como una lengua útil, de comunicación y de trabajo, se enseña según una metodología comunicativa más adaptada a las realidades socioeconómicas. ; Le français bénéficia longtemps en Espagne d’une vieille tradition francophile et de la forte implantation du réseau de l’Alliance française. Ainsi, il prédomina dans le système éducatif espagnol jusqu’au milieu du 20e siècle sans intervention de l’État français pour en assurer sa diffusion. Son déclin, amorcé sous Franco, nécessita toutefois la mise en place d’une politique linguistique et éducative compensatoire qui aboutit à un premier accord bilatéral favorisant surtout le développement de l’enseignement en français au sein du réseau de la Mission laïque mais qui eut peu d’effets à l’école espagnole où le français fut relégué au rang de deuxième langue étrangère. Cependant, suite à son adhésion à l’Europe, l’Espagne a recréé, en partenariat avec la France, une nouvelle dynamique pour le français, notamment grâce aux sections bilingues qui connaissent un succès croisant. La langue française, considérée à présent davantage comme une langue utile, de communication et de travail, est enseignée suivant une méthodologie communicative plus adaptée aux réalités socio-économiques.
