Abstract:
In China, the great rear area of the Anti-Japanese War was a real existence. It generally refers to the western region with Chongqing at the center during the the Anti-Japanese War. In recent years, scholars have gradually paid more attention to research the great rear area and have done in-depth research, but there still are some disadvantages which are not conducive to deepening and broadening research on the great rear area. Therefore, it is important to clarify basic problems of the research on the great rear area for researching the history of the the Anti-Japanese War in China and the history of the Second World War. The “research topics” is a basic problem in researching the great rear area. This paper discusses the “research topics” from eight aspects in order to benefit the development of the research on the great rear area.
