Abstract:
The article investigates the historical development of methods of lexicographical representations of synonyms. Since the very first attempts at compiling dictionaries of synonyms the question of boundaries of synonymy, as well as differences and similarities between the synonyms, has been heavily debated. If synonymic connections are understood broadly, describing synonymic rows differs only slightly from describing larger semantic unities, including lexico-semantic groups. From the broad understanding of synonymy represented in the dictionaries of the inventory type (by Abramov, Aleksandrova), lexicographers switched to establishing solid boundaries between synonyms and hyponymic groups and other lexical paradigms. This approach may also be observed in amateur lexicography. New developments in lexicography bring about new ways of presenting different types of semantic connections between words, as well as new types of synonymic dictionaries aiming at revealing those connections. Thesauri allow the precision in lexical choice as they present groups interconnected by the common core semantic components. This approach is both theoretically and practically fruitful as it serves the pragmatic needs of the addressee. ; В статье в исторической перспективе рассматриваются способы лексикографического представления синонимов. Показано, что, начиная с первых опытов составления синонимических словарей, дискуссионным оставался вопрос о границах синонимии и о соотношении сходства и различия между словами-синонимами. При широком понимании синонимических связей описание синонимических рядов сближается с описанием более широких семантических объединений, в частности лексико-семантических групп. От широкого понимания синонимии в словарях инвентарного типа (словари Абрамова, Александровой) лексикографы приходят к необходимости строгого отграничения синонимов от гипонимических групп и других лексических парадигм. Подобный подход наблюдается и в любительской лексикографии. Развитие современного словарного дела демонстрирует и новые способы презентации разных типов семантических связей слов, и появление новых типов синонимических словарей, направленных на выявление подобных сближений. Синонимические словари тезаурусного типа позволяют осуществить точный лексический выбор, представляя разветвленные группировки, связанные общностью ядерных семантических компонентов. Подобный подход представляется перспективным как в теоретическом, так и в практическом плане, поскольку отвечает прагматическим запросам адресата. ; Исследование выполнено при финансовой поддержке РГНФ в рамках научно-исследовательского проекта № 15-04-00318 («Социокультурные факторы как мотивационная основа типологии словарей»).
