Abstract:
Согласно наиболее обоснованной точке зрения, в праиндоевропейском языке *sem- означало ‘unus’, а *Hoi̯H- — ‘solus’. В статье подробно разбираются аргументы за и против такой гипотезы. В праславянском мы наблюдаем распределение обратное праиндоевропейскому: *samъ, опосредованно восходящее к *sem-, значило ‘solus’, а *edinъ, продолжающее *Hoi̯H-, имело значение ‘unus’. В данной статье рассматривается, как именно в праславянском *somHos (> *samъ) ‘idem’ расширило значение сначала на ‘ipse’, а затем на ‘solus’. Хотя в индоевропейских языках более распространённой является противоположная ситуация (‘ipse’ приобретает значение ‘idem’), определённую параллель для такого перехода мы находим в истории древнегреческого αὐτός. ; Согласно наиболее обоснованной точке зрения, в праиндоевропейском языке *sem- означало ‘unus’, а *Hoi̯H- — ‘solus’.
