Comparatively, we observe the discourse of norm in both grammars and the treatment conferred to matters of linguistic variation; «authorship » concepts deriving from the variation of person in discourse; and the historic, social and political roles of these grammars. ; Dans le cadre d’une recherche sur les discours des grammaires de la langue portugaise, selon la proposition théorique et la méthodologie de la sémiotique discursive française, nous comparons, dans ce travail, le discours de la grammaire de Fernão de Oliveira, qui avait notamment comme objectif pédagogique d’enseigner le portugais aux colonisés et de contribuer ainsi à la formation de l’empire, avec le discours de la grammaire de Pedro Dias, qui prétendait enseigner le kimbundu aux missionnaires afin qu’ils puissent catéchiser les Noirs au Brésil. Nous examinons comparativement les discours de la norme dans les deux grammaires ; les conceptions de « l’auteur », qui résultent des variations de personnes du discours ; et, enfin, les rôles linguistiques, historiques, sociaux et politiques de ces grammaires.
