Abstract:
National audience ; From birth, the child is confronted to different varieties of the same language that he has to learn and the factors that determine their use. From his first words, the child produces various lexical forms referring to the same concept as said by (Chambers, 1995: 20): "childhood is the epoch of vernacular acquisition. This is the phase in which the mastery of phonology and syntax develops by integrating regional characteristics and social class markers". Therefore, the awakening to languages is not the study of a p articular language. It is the active discovery, by means of activities that put the child in contact with oral and written corpuses in different languages, the broadest diversity of the languages of the world, linguistic varieties of any status p resent in the environment, Languages of families.and so on. Beyond differences in the level of mastery of "social registries" in relation to adults, children become aware from an early age that language is not only about communicating, and do not always use the "same words" with everyone. Sensitivity to social and situational factors is therefore precocious. This is a topic in the area of developmental sociolinguistics that attempts to document the processes of language acquisition in context (Gumperz, 1989). This is exactly what this contribution tries to exp lain by observing the same process in the Arab sphere (Lachkar, 2013). ; Dès sa naissance, l’enfant est confronté à différentes variétés d’une même langue qu’il va devoir apprendre ainsi que les facteurs qui déterminent leur emploi. De même, à partir de ses premiers mots, l’enfant produit diverses formes lexicales renvoyant au concept de l’acquisition vernaculaire (Chambers, 1995: 20). Pour ce denier: «l’enfance est l’époque de l’acquisition du vernaculaire. C’est la phase durant laquelle la maîtrise de la phonologie et de la syntaxe se développe en intégrant les caractéristiques régionales et les marqueurs de classe sociale». De ce fait, c'est la découverte active aux moyens d'activités qui mettent l’enfant en contact avec des corpus oraux et écrits dans différentes langues, de la diversité la plus large des langues du monde, des variétés linguistiques de tout statut présentes dans l'environnement, langues des familles, etc. Au-delà d’écarts de niveau de maitrise des « registres sociaux » par rapport aux adultes, les jeunes prennent donc conscience dès leur plus jeune âge que le langage ne sert pas qu’à communiquer de l’information,et qu’on n’utilise pas toujours les « mêmes mots » avec tout le monde. La sensibilité aux facteurs sociaux et situationnels est donc précoce. C’est un sujet qui relève du domaine de la sociolinguistique développementale qui essaie de faire état des processus d’acquisition d’une langue dans son contexte (Gumperz, 1989). C’est exactement ce que tente d’expliquer cette contribution à travers l’observation du même processus dans la sphère arabe (Lachkar, 2013)
