Abstract:
Master ; La recherche internationale sur les discours spécialisés oscille globalement entre deux pôles correspondant aussi à deux bornes chronologiques : d’un côté, une entrée strictement linguistique considérant pas tant les discours que les « langues de spécialité » envisagées en tant que sous-système de la langue générale longtemps à la base de la norme ISO 1087 ; de l’autre, une entrée explicitement ethnographique, par les spécialités elles-mêmes et leurs acteurs, aujourd’hui très largement répandue. On est ainsi passé d’une vision réductionniste centrée sur le système linguistique – à travers les terminologies – à une vision maximaliste où l’on peut parfois avoir du mal à (re)trouver le linguistique. Dans le même temps, ce champ de recherche ne pouvait rester à l’écart du tournant cognitif que connaît la recherche en linguistique depuis les années 1980 ayant conduit à une redéfinition de la discipline pour laquelle Klaus Schubert proposait dès 2011 la désignation de Specialized Communication Studies.C’est dans ce contexte que l’intervention se proposera d’élucider ce que les grammaires de construction – et la frame semantics qui en constitue un des soubassements – peuvent apporter pour un programme de recherche intrinsèquement cognitif sur les discours spécialisés (recherche où, en revanche, la théorie des métaphores cognitives a déjà largement été mise en œuvre). A partir d’exemples issus de corpus spécialisés en langue allemande, représentatifs de plusieurs « langues-cultures-milieux de spécialité » (Gautier 2019) comme la finance, l’œnologie ou encore la météorologie, on visera à démontrer la pertinence de la notion de construction à tous les niveaux de description : morphologie lexicale, structures argumentales, représentation des contenus spécialisés, structuration du texte/de l’interaction. On plaidera ainsi pour une approche médiane mais intégrative (Gautier 2012) qui, partant de la spécialité, cherche à l’articuler directement avec le niveau discursif – articulation dont c’est bien l’architecture cognitive du domaine qui détient les clefs.Gautier, Laurent (2012).
