Um einen Ausschnitt der Vielschichtigkeit darzustellen, mit der junge Asylwerbende in Österreich konfrontiert sind, wurden als Schauplatz der Datenerhebung ein Containerdorf und eine Unterkunft für unbegleitete minderjährige Geflüchtete ausgewählt. Insgesamt wurden drei Interviews mit Lernenden, ein Interview mit einer ehrenamtlichen Sprachbegleiterin und eine Gruppendiskussion mit drei Lehrpersonen geführt und ausgewertet. Obwohl sowohl die Lehrpersonen, als auch die Lernenden ein großes Interesse zeigen, Spracherwerbsprozesse voranzutreiben, gestalten sich diese aufgrund diverser struktureller Bedingungen schwierig. Durch die Einblicke in die Lebens- und Lernbedingungen der Bewohner_innen kann herausgearbeitet werden, dass nicht die Förderung der Integration von Asylwerber_innen vorangetrieben wird, sondern vielmehr eine organisierte Desintegration wirksam wird. ; This Master's thesis deals with the language acquisition of asylum seekers who are accommodated in Austrian collective centres and examines the extent to which the learning and acquisition conditions are disintegrating. In order to explore the complexity with which young asylum seekers in Austria are confronted, a container village and an accommodation for unaccompanied minor refugees were selected as the sites for data collection. A total of three interviews with learners, one interview with a volunteer language guide and a group discussion with three teachers were conducted and evaluated. Although both the teachers and the learners show great interest in promoting language acquisition processes, challenges are posed by various structural conditions. Through the insights into the living and learning conditions of the residents, it can be shown that it is not the promotion of the integration of asylum seekers that is pursued, but rather an organized disintegration.
