Abstract:
Die Lesekompetenz gilt ebenso wie die emotionale Kompetenz als zentrale Entwicklungskomponente. Beide Bereiche unterliegen einem komplexen Lernprozess und werden dabei von verschiedenen Faktoren beeinflusst. Einer dieser Einflussfaktoren ist die phonologische Informationsverarbeitung, die aus den drei Einzelkomponenten phonologische Bewusstheit, Benenngeschwindigkeit und phonologische Schleife besteht. In der vorliegenden Studie wurde im Rahmen des Projekts TRIO (DIPF | Leibniz-Institut für Bildungsforschung und Bildungsinformation) und einer Stichprobe mit 304 Kindern im Alter von fünf bis sieben Jahren untersucht, ob die phonologische Informationsverarbeitung im Vorschulalter sowohl die Leseleistung als auch die emotionale Kompetenz im ersten Schuljahr vorhersagt. Des Weiteren wurde analysiert, ob die emotionale Kompetenz sich ebenfalls zur Vorhersage der Leseentwicklung eignet und ob sie zudem den Zusammenhang zwischen phonologischer Informationsverarbeitung und Leseleistung mediiert. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass sich einzelne phonologische Vorläuferfertigkeiten mit schwachen bis starken Effekten auf die Leseleistung sowie auf die emotionale Kompetenz auswirken. Zwischen der emotionalen Kompetenz und der Leseleistung konnte hingegen kein Zusammenhang festgestellt werden, wodurch auch der mediierende Effekt der emotionalen Kompetenz nicht eintritt. Diese Ergebnisse bestätigen und erweitern die aktuelle Forschungslage und unterstreichen dabei die Relevanz einer vorschulischen Förderung phonologischer Fertigkeiten. (DIPF/Orig.)
