Abstract:
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of speech therapy exercises on the articulation ability of autistic children at SLB-C Catholic Santa Anna Tomohon. The research method used is the Single Subject Research (SSR) approach. The design used is A-B-A'. The research subject is a class II autistic child who has low articulation ability. Data was collected by means of articulation and observation skills tests. The data obtained were analyzed through descriptive statistics and displayed in graphical form. The components analyzed include analysis under conditions and analysis between conditions. The results showed that the analysis of the results of the articulation abilities of the students obtained an overview of the number of abilities to pronounce letters, syllables, and words and obtained the number of articulation errors such as omission, substitution, addition, and distortion.
