Abstract:
En la adquisición de lenguas extranjeras se ha avanzado mucho en los últimos decenios, siendo uno de los aspectos a los que mayor atención se presta actualmente la enseñanza de los contenidos culturales. La cuestión es que siempre se ha enseñado cultura, pero no siempre se ha entendido de la misma manera. Con la llegada del concepto de Competencia Comunicativa y, más tarde, el de Competencia Intercultural, se ha pasado de concebir la enseñanza de la cultura como un mero compendio de fechas, nombres y acontecimientos, a una visión mucho más global de lo que significa ser ciudadano de una sociedad. Con esta nueva visión, tanto el profesorado como el estudiantado han pasado a convertirse en mediadores interculturales, que construyen juntos a partir de su propia experiencia. ; In the acquisition of foreign languages, much progress has been made in recent decades, being the teaching of cultural contents one of the aspects to which is currently paid most attention. The point is that culture has always been taught, but it has not always been understood in the same way. With the arrival of the concept of Communicative Competence and, later, that of Intercultural Competence, the teaching of culture has gone from understanding it as a mere compendium of dates, names and events, to a much more global vision of what it means to be citizen of a society. With this new vision, both the teaching staff and the students have become intercultural mediators, who build together from their own experience.
