Descrição da aquisição fonológica típica em crianças moradoras da cidade de Natal entre os 2:0 e 5:5 anos ; Description of typical phonological acquisition between 2:0 and 5:5 years
Souza, Gabrielle dos Santos. - : Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, 2021. : Brasil, 2021. : UFRN, 2021. : Fonoaudiologia, 2021
Abstract: Introduction: Phonological acquisition occurs following a sequence common to most children, this process occurs in a non-linear and gradual way. In Brazilian Portuguese, phonological development occurs between birth and the age of 6: 0 years, in the absence of disorders that hinder acquisition Generally, studies that address phonological acquisition are predominant in the South and Southeast. Therefore, the objective of this study was to describe the process of phonological acquisition typical of children living in the city of Natal / RN and to compare the results obtained with those of other studies. Methodology: This is a quantitative / qualitative research, with data collection, 8 children, of both sexes, aged between 2 and 5 years, participated, all students of the Childhood Education Center (NEI-Cap / UFRN) . The collection was obtained through spontaneous conversations, recorded, transcribed and analyzed by means of descriptive statistics and by the Contrast and Structures Acquisition Standard model. Results: Plosives were acquired until the expected age, but there were some regressions of use in some subjects, corroborating the non-linear aspect of phonological acquisition. The fricatives / z / / ʒ / / v / are clear at the expected ages, but had a complete stabilization at a later age. Thus, as the acquisition of the net / X / and / ɾ /. Conclusion: The linguistic variant, dependent on the region, can cause a difference in the time of phoneme stabilization, especially of the liquid ones, which is why the importance of research focused on this field of study in the Potiguar region.
