Abstract:
Diese Arbeit soll in erster Linie die aktuelle soziolinguistische Situation des Judenspanischen in der Türkei behandeln. Zu Beginn wird einen kurzen Überblick über die Geschichte der sephardischen Juden gegeben und auf Fragen zur Sprache, Sprachentstehung, Sprachentwicklung, sprachlichen Besonderheiten und Abgrenzung zum Spanischen sowie verschiedenen Varietäten eingegangen. Im zweiten Teil werden theoretische Grundlagen zu Erhalt, Verfall und Veränderungen der Sprache thematisiert. Das zentrale Thema der Arbeit liegt jedoch auf der aktuellen soziolinguistischen Situation der sephardischen Juden und deren Sprache, d.h. wie die sozialen, politischen und kulturellen Veränderungen in der Türkei die sephardische Sprache beeinflusst und wie die Sprachgemeinschaft darauf reagiert. Dabei werden die Kerngebiete der Linguistik wie die Phonologie, Phonetik, Morphologie, Syntax und Lexikologie des Judenspanischen in der Türkei behandelt, aber auch Konversation und Textproduktion mitberücksichtigt. Anhand von Befragungen mit den in der Türkei lebenden Sepharden wird ein Bild über ihre aktuelle soziolinguistische Situation geschaffen und ihre persönliche Motivation in Bezug auf den Spracherhalt erforscht.
