Pohl, Sabine. - 2019 Abstract: Die vorliegende Diplomarbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Frage: Wie nehmen SchülerInnen in der Deutschaneignung das Dialekt-Standard-Kontinuum wahr? Aus dieser Forschungsfrage wiederum resultieren weitere Unterfragen: Wie wird mit dem Dialekt-Standard-Kontinuum zurechtgekommen? Wie wird im Kontinuum hin- und hergeglitten? Wie wird der Spracherwerb beeinflusst? Am Beginn der Arbeit werden zunächst theoretische Begrifflichkeiten geklärt. Es erfolgt anfangs ein Überblick hinsichtlich der Deutschen Sprache und des Spracherwerbs mit seinen unterschiedlichen Formen bezüglich Mehrsprachigkeit und Migration. In weiterer Folge wird auf Österreichs Sprachsituation in Bezug auf Plurizentrik und Dialekt im schulischen Umfeld eingegangen. In diesem Zusammenhang soll auch eine Studie von de Cillia et al. „Österreichisches Deutsch als Unterrichts-und Bildungssprache an österreichischen Schulen“ Erwähnung finden. In einem empirischen Teil dieser Arbeit, wofür insgesamt 10 SchülerInnen in Hinblick auf die Beantwortung der gestellten Fragen interviewt wurden, sollen sowohl Gemeinsamkeiten als auch Unterschiede aufgedeckt und besprochen werden. Die Arbeit stützt sich auf eine inhaltlich-strukturierende Inhaltsanalyse von Philipp Mayring und die Untersuchungen sollen dazu beitragen, ein besseres Verständnis für das Dialekt-Standard-Kontinuum in Verbindung mit dem Spracherwerb zu gewinnen. Die Ergebnisse zeigen deutlich, dass die interviewten InformantInnen das Vorhandensein des Dialekt-Standard-Kontinuums auf unterschiedliche Art und Weise wahrnehmen und selbst im Kontinuum gleiten. Dahingehend ist es wichtig, sowohl ein schulisches als auch gesellschaftliches Bewusstsein mit dem Umgang der Varietäten auszubilden. Die Analysen zielen ebenfalls darauf ab, das Sprachbewusstsein bei LehrerInnen zu schärfen und dass die Plurizentrik hinsichtlich des Migrationskontextes für den Erwerb des Deutschen vor allem im schulischen Bereich von großer Bedeutung ist. ; This diploma thesis addresses the following question: How do pupils perceive the dialect-standard-continuum during the process of German language acquisition? The research question is followed by further sub questions: How do the pupils cope with the dialect-standard-continuum? How do they switch within the continuum? How does this affect the process of language acquisition? In the first part of this thesis theoretical terms and definitions are going to be explained. The next part is dedicated to the German language and language acquisition in different forms of multilingualism and migration. Furthermore, the thesis also looks at the Austrian language situation regarding pluricentricity and dialect in schools. In this correlation a study by de Cillia et al. “Österreichisches Deutsch als Unterrichts- und Bildungssprache an österreichischen Schulen” will also be mentioned. For this thesis 10 pupils were interviewed. In the empirical part, the similarities and differences of pupils’ answers will be discussed. This thesis leans on the content-structural content analysis by Philipp Mayring. The research is focused on obtaining a better comprehension of the dialect-standard-continuum in relation to language acquisition. The results show explicitly that the interviewed pupils perceive the existence of the dialect-standard-continuum in different ways and that they all switch within the continuum. As a conclusion, it is important to raise an academic and social awareness in the usage of varieties of speech. The results show that language awareness of teachers and pluricentricity concerning the migration and language acquisition are important, especially within the academic field.
