Abstract:
Halkan waxay odayadu kaga doodayaan arrin ku saabsan birtumidda, oo ah nooc farsamo Soomaaliyeed, gaar ahaan waxay ka hadlayaan: waxa uu yahay qofka birta tuma, waxyaaba uu soo saaro: qalabka wax lagu jaro (middiyo kala duwan), hub kala duwan (waran, fallaar), qalabka beeraha (yaambo, faash). Waxay kala saaraan tumaalka iyo qalanshubaha. Isla markiina waxay odayadu falanqaynayaan ereyada la xiriira arrintaas. ; In questa conversazione gli anziani affrontano il tema della lavorazione del ferro, tipo di artigianato tradizionale, presentando in particolare: la figura del fabbro, i prodotti artigianali: i vari strumenti da taglio (coltelli per diversi usi); armi vere e proprie e armi decorative (spade, lance e pugnali); strumenti agricoli (zappe, asce). Distinguono anche la figura del fabbro da quella dell'orefice. Contestualmente, gli anziani presentano e analizzano il relativo lessico. ; In this conversation the elders talk about iron manufactoring, a traditional Somali craftmanship, describing in particular:the role of the blacksmith, the handicraft products: cutting instruments (knives); weapons; agricultural instruments (hoe, axe). The figure of the goldsmith is introduced.
