Numéro de la revue édité par Émilie Aussant ; International audience ; This paper examines the Syriac grammatical tradition within the framework of "Greek extended grammar". A first section analyses the evolution of the system of parts of speech, which evolved, between the 6th and 13th centuries, from a Syriac translation of the Technè grammatikè of (Pseudo)Dionysius Thrax. A second section focuses on the category of participle and its treatment by the various Syriac grammarians. The article shows how, in Syriac grammars, the notion of participle does not apply to a morphological category, but rather to a syntactic structure. ; Cet article examine la tradition grammaticale syriaque dans le cadre de de la « grammaire grecque étendue ». Une première section analyse l’évolution du système des parties du discours, qui évolue, entre VIe et XIIIe siècle, à partir d’une traduction syriaque de la Technè grammatikè du (Pseudo)Denys le Thrace. Une deuxième section est consacrée à la catégorie du participe et à son traitement par les divers grammairiens syriaques. L’article montre comment, dans les grammaires syriaques, la notion de participe ne s’applique pas à une catégorie morphologique, mais plutôt à une structure syntaxique.
