Survival of the suffix -unz(a) in Northern Italian and Romantsch [<Journal>]
Abstract: Permission for this item cannot be attained from the pubisher and therefore the item must remain unavailable. ; The suffix -unz(a) is restricted in distribution and disappearing in Northern Italian dialects, whereas it is thriving in Romantsch spoken in Switzerland. This difference suggests the suffix is increasingly used by Romantsch speakers as emblematic of their distinctive language and culture.
