Abstract:
Element of a collection ; The ‘Documentation Approach to Didactics is an entry of the Encyclopedia of Mathematics Education (Trouche, Gueudet & Pepin 2020). This entry has been updated in 2020 (Trouche, Gueudet & Pepin 2020). This article is a French adaptation of this updated version. It is part of a collection, gathering such adaptations in 14 languages (https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/DAD-MULTILINGUAL).The documentational approach to didactics is a theory in mathematics education. Its aim is to understand teachers’ professional development by studying their interactions with the resources they use and design in/for their teaching. In this text we briefly describe the emergence of the approach, its theoretical background, its main concepts, and the associated methodology. We illustrate these aspects with examples from different research projects. This synthetic presentation is written for researchers, but also for non-specialists (e.g. master students) interested in a first discovery of the documentational approach ; ‘Documentational Approach to Didactics’ est une entrée de l’Encyclopedia of Mathematics Education (Trouche, Gueudet & Pepin 2018). Cette entrée a été mise à jour en 2020 (Trouche, Gueudet & Pepin 2020). Cet article est une adaptation française de cette mise à jour. Elle s’intègre dans une collection rassemblant des adaptations de cette version dans 14 langues (https://hal.archives-ouvertes.fr/DAD-MULTILINGUAL).L’approche documentaire du didactique est une théorie introduite en didactique des mathématiques. Son principal objectif est de comprendre le développement professionnel des professeurs à travers l’étude de leurs interactions avec les ressources qu’ils utilisent et conçoivent pour les besoins de leur enseignement. Dans ce texte nous rappelons le contexte d’émergence de l’approche, ses sources théoriques, ses principaux concepts ainsi que la méthodologie associée. Nous illustrons ces différents aspects à l’aide d’exemples issus de différentes recherches. Cette présentation synthétique est faite à destination des chercheurs mais aussi de non-spécialistes (étudiant.e.s de master par exemple) intéressé.e.s par une initiation à l’approche documentaire.
