Mean duration of the 3 rd syllable is 0.01055 s (SD=0.00312, n=9); the call does not have a distinct frequency peak but most energy is within 11.7–22.8 kHz (Figs. 56 A–C). The call is very faint but audible from a distance of a few meters. Distribution and natural history. E. lesnei was described from Chiramba in Zambezia Province of Mozambique but has since been collected in Sofala as well as northern parts of South Africa.
