Abstract:
Tra i risultati più significativi della trentennale ricerca acquisizionale c'è che l'apprendimento linguistico procede per stadi obbligati. La Teoria della Processabilità (TP da qui in poi) è una teoria di acquisizione di L2 particolarmente interessante per il tema di questo volume poichè spiega gli stadi dello sviluppo linguistico partendo dal lessico e ne propone la graduale grammaticalizzazione per mezzo di una gerarchia unicersale di procedure di elaborazione cognitiva - di processabilità, dall'inglese processability.
