Abstract:
Este trabajo trata sobre la acogida del alumnado inmigrante en la enseñanza primaria, con una atención particular al alumnado inmigrante recién llegado y especialmente en lo que respecta al aprendizaje de la(s) lengua(s) de acogida, su adecuación al ritmo académico de la clase ordinaria y su integración social y afectiva. Para ello comenzamos por posicionarnos en el marco de la escuela inclusiva. Posteriormente realizamos un recorrido sobre la situación bilingüe y la investigación sobre los programas de inmersión lingüística. Hemos hecho también una revisión de la literatura científica sobre la brecha lingüística y académica existente entre el alumnado nativo e inmigrante, constatando que el alumnado nativo obtiene, en casi todos los casos, puntuaciones por encima del alumnado inmigrante. A continuación, intentamos responder a la pregunta relativa al tiempo necesario para que el alumnado inmigrante consiga el nivel de competencia lingüística en la(s) lengua(s) de la escuela que le permita recorrer un ... : This work deals with the reception of immigrant students in primary education, with particular emphasis on newly arrived immigrant students and especially in regards to the learning of the host language(s), its adaptation to the academic rhythm of the ordinary class and its social and affective integration. To this end, we begin by positioning ourselves within the framework of the inclusive school. Subsequently, we look at the bilingual situation and the research on linguistic immersion programmes. We have also carried out a review of the scientific literature about the linguistic and academic gap between native and immigrant students, noting that native students obtain, in almost all cases, scores greater than immigrant students. We try to answer the question regarding the period necessary for immigrant students to achieve the level of linguistic competence in the language(s) of the school in order to follow an itinerary of academic success therein.
