Abstract:
Leptagrion jeromei spec. nov. Lencioni, Vilela & Furieri (Figs. 1c, 2b, 2d, 3c–d) Holotype. ♂ (UFPA, FAAL-NC 4700), Brazil: Bahia, Jussari, RPPN Serra do Teimoso, bromeliad over a Jequitiba tree ( Cariniana legalis (Mart.) Kuntze, 1898) at 32 m, (15.1536 S, 39.5242 W), 11.v.2005, K.S. Furieri leg. Paratypes. 4♂♂: 1 ♂: (FAAL-NC 4136) Brazil: Bahia, Mucuri—Paulo Freire settlement (in Aechmea sp. over a jackfruit tree, Artocarpus heterophyllus Lamark), (15.0963 S, 39.6571 W), 11.i.2006, K.S. Furieri, A.F.Van de Koken, A.F. Matos leg.; 1♂ same data of holotype but 10.v.2005; 1 ♂ (IRSNB) same data of holotype but 05.iv.2005; 1♂ (FAAL-NC 3984) same data of holotype but 13.iv.2005.
