Abstract:
Die Herausforderung des Sachunterrichts besteht darin, den Kindern neben der Lebenswelt (deklarative Ebene) und den Handlungsweisen (prozedurale Ebene) auch die jeweils angemessene Sprache (kommunikative Ebene) näherzubringen. Sinngemäß steht im Perspektivrahmen: Kinder sollen lernen, ihre Lebenswelt sprachlich und inhaltlich sachgemäß darzustellen. Sie sollen zu individuellen Übergängen von der Alltagssprache hin zu einer Bildungssprache angeleitet werden. In diesem Artikel wird anhand von Beispielen aufgezeigt, wie digitale Medien diese individuellen Übergänge unterstützen können. Insofern steht nicht das Lernen über Medien, sondern das Lernen mit Medien im Fokus. Ähnlich wie ein Wetzstahl eine Messerklinge schärft, werden die digitalen Medien in diesem Sinne als Werkzeug betrachtet, um ein zweites Werkzeug (Sprache) zu schärfen. Dabei werden nicht nur Beispiele genannt, wie die digitalen Medien für Lernende zum Einsatz kommen. Stattdessen wird ebenso dargestellt, wie Lehrkräfte die digitalen Medien für sich selbst als Werkzeuge nutzen könnten, um einen möglichst individuell sprachbildenden Sachunterricht vorzubereiten. Grundsätzlich lässt sich das Ziel der individuellen Sprachbildung mit einem Konzept verfolgen – dem sprachbezogenen Scaffolding. Dieses wird im Folgenden vorgestellt. Im weiteren Verlauf wird der unterstützende Beitrag der digitalen Medien auf die einzelnen Elemente des sprachbezogenen Scaffolding angewandt. (DIPF/Orig.)
