This experiment tests how felicitous or infelicitous it is to deaccent words we used in a prior homophone production study in the absence of an an appropriate antecedent. We will use the results to compare how good or bad the speakers in the prior rated utterances in which they deaccented the same words, when only a homophonous antecedent was present, but not an antecedent that would make its meaning given. ...
