Abstract:
Η κατανόηση του γραπτού λόγου, αποτελεί αναμφίβολα μια πολύπλοκη διαδικασία, στην οποία ο αναγνώστης και το κείμενο αλληλεπιδρούν, λαμβάνοντας μέρος σε μια αμφίδρομη διαδικασία: το κείμενο κωδικοποιεί κάποια μηνύματα, τα οποία ο αναγνώστης καλείται να τα αποκωδικοποιήσει, αξιοποιώντας τις γλωσσικές του δεξιότητες και την εμπειρία του. Κατά την πορεία αυτή, πιθανές αμφισημίες αλλά και πιο απαιτητικές δομές, ενδέχεται να τον δυσκολέψουν και να λειτουργήσουν παραπλανητικά, παραποιώντας την ποιότητα της ανάγνωσης και τα επίπεδα της κατανόησης. Το φαινόμενο που εξετάζουμε στην παρούσα εργασία, η κατανόηση των αμφίσημων αντωνυμικών σε παιδιά ηλικίας 11-13 ετών, δύναται να αποτελέσει έναν τέτοιο παράγοντα παραπλάνησης του αναγνώστη, αφού μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε λανθασμένη ερμηνεία του κειμένου και να διαστρεβλώσει το προϊόν της προτασικής κατανόησης. Στο παρόν πόνημα, λοιπόν, μέσα από ένα χρονομετρικό πείραμα αυτορρυθμιζόμενης ανάγνωσης ... : Reading Comprehension is undoubtedly a complex process, in which the reader and the text interact, taking part in a two-way process: the text encodes some messages, which reader is asked to decode, utilizing his language skills and experience. During this process, possible ambiguities, as well as more demanding structures, may make the comprehension process difficult for the reader and work misleadingly, distorting the quality of comprehension and ultimately the quality of whole reading. The phenomenon we are studying in the present work, the understanding of ambiguous pronouns in children aged 11-13 years, can be such a factor of misleading the reader, leading to a misinterpretation of what is written. Thus, in the present dissertation, through an on-line self-paced reading experimental task, we examine the way in which children choose to resolve the reference to ambiguous pronouns while reading.
