Colloque de l'Association Française de Linguistique Appliquée, sous le patronage de la Commission nationale française pour l'UNESCO ; International audience ; Dans ces dernières années, les tablettes ont été de plus en plus utilisées pour des activités de loisirs, ainsi que dans des contextes pédagogiques (par exemple Niskajärvi 2018). De nombreuses études ont été menées dans différentes disciplines. Dans le domaine de l'analyse des interactions, qui est le nôtre, les travaux sur les tablettes portent surtout sur les interactions au musée (Stolz et al. 2015, Rothe 2016).Notre corpus est composé d'interactions dans un contexte particulier : à l'occasion d'un festival de petits lecteurs organisé par la Bibliothèque Municipale de Lyon, des enfants âgés entre 16 mois et 12 ans participent avec leurs (grands-)parents à des sessions de jeux vidéo sur grande tablette. Ces interactions se déroulent sous les regards du personnel de la bibliothèque, qui anime les séances de jeu.Notre analyse a été réalisée dans le cadre du projet ITAC (Interactions inTergénérationnelles Avec éCran), financé par le LabEx ASLAN. Nous focalisons notre attention sur le médiateur, que nous estimons jouer un rôle central dans l'organisation de la participation. À l'instar de Goodwin & Goodwin (2004), nous entendons la participation comme un ensemble de pratiques situées plutôt que de catégories a priori. Ainsi, les participants s'appuient sur des ressources multimodales diverses pour participer à la co-construction d'actions dans l'interaction.Dans ces données, le médiateur contribue de manière décisive à la constitution de cadres de participation dans un environnement numérique hybride. Cela est possible grâce à ses postures corporelles, son regard et aux différents gestes qu'il accomplit. Le médiateur touche l'écran en illustrant les actions à réaliser dans la virtualité du jeu, il interagit avec les joueurs – adultes et enfants – afin d'expliquer, de proposer, d'initier des manipulations spécifiques et des stratégie de jeu. Autrement dit, d'un côté, il mobilise l'écran pour accomplir certaines actions dans l'espace virtuel du jeu, de l'autre côté, il assure le bon déroulement de l'activité de jouer ensemble.Cette contribution s'inscrit dans l'axe 2 (Enjeux sociétaux), elle vise à mettre en évidence les pratiques utilisées par le personnel de la bibliothèque dans ses actions de médiation. À travers des ressources corporelles – notamment gestes, mouvements et positionnements du corps –, le médiateur traverse des cadres de participation divers. Pendant la phase d'ouverture, il se penche en avant, entre l'écran et les joueurs ; une fois que les joueurs sont engagés dans le jeu, il se déplace vers le côté ; lorsque le jeu est terminé ou lorsque des difficultés surviennent, il intervient et s'approche de l'écran.
