	Abstract: Der Artikel beschäftigt sich mit deutschen und europäischen rechtspopulistischen Vorstellungen von Geschlechterregimen. Aufgefunden wird dabei ein paradoxes Ineinandergreifen von traditionellen und modernen Elementen. Modernität entsteht durch eine auffällige Häufung weiblicher Führungspersönlichkeiten und durch einen abendländischen 'Sexuellen Exzeptionalismus' gegenüber angenommener Rückständigkeit muslimischer Migrant_innen. Traditionalität wird verpackt in Sprachpolitiken wie eingeforderter Wertschätzung von 'Vollzeitmutterschaft' oder Erzählungen von 'freier Wahl'. Eine demokratische Gleichheit der Geschlechter wird gefährdet durch ein Konzept 'natürlicher' Unterschiede, das weiterhin auf geschlechtsspezifischer Arbeitsteilung basiert. ; The article deals with ideas of gender regimes in German and European right-wing populist concepts. What will be seen is a paradoxical entanglement of traditional and modern elements. An interestingly great number of female leaders is one of the modern elements as well as a kind of occidental 'sexual exceptionalism' produced by the comparison with allegedly sexually 'backward' Muslim migrants. Traditional elements are concealed via language politics such as calling stay at home moms ‘full time mothers’ and narratives of free choice. In this respect, any true equality of the sexes in right-wing populisms is endangered by concepts of 'separate but equal' still founded on gender-based division of labor.
