Abstract:
The aim of this study is to analyze the terms of a field of social interest such as couple psychology on the basis of their diffusion in popular scientific texts. They are neological units of general communication insofar as they are perceived as innovative voices by non-specialist receivers, regardless of them being neonyms or not. In order to carry out the work, a corpus of semi-specialized texts in the field of psychology published in the period between 2020 and 2021 was created. The analysis has revealed that the vitality of this specialized language is in the line of the growing attention of psychological research on couple relationships and their patterns, and how these lexical innovations gives us access to the way the conceptual domain including the different forms of intimate relationships is changing at this stage of modernity. ; El objetivo de este estudio es analizar los términos de un campo de interés social como es el de la psicología de pareja a partir de su difusión en textos de divulgación científica. Son unidades neológicas de la comunicación general en la medida en que se perciben como voces novedosas por parte de receptores no especialistas, y ello independientemente de que sean neónimos o no. Para llevar a cabo el trabajo se ha creado un corpus de textos semiespecializados del ámbito de la psicología publicados en el período entre 2020 y 2021. El análisis ha revelado que la vitalidad de esta lengua de especialidad está en consonancia con la creciente atención de la investigación en psicología a las relaciones de pareja y sus patrones y cómo esas innovaciones léxicas permiten acceder al modo en que se modifica el dominio conceptual de formas de relación íntima en esta etapa de la modernidad.
