Cette étude longitudinale évalue les corrélations entre le développement de la capacité orale des élèves FiBi entre 1H et 4H à utiliser la langue partenaire à des fins communicatives et les biographies langagières des élèves et de leurs parents. Cette étude suggère que l’impact des biographies langagières est plus important chez les élèves francophones que chez leurs pairs alémaniques. Des inteprétations possibles de ces différences mettent notamment en avant la diglossie alémanique. Des différences entre les deux groupes ressortent également quant aux motivations des parents à inscrire leur enfant à la FiBi, notamment en termes de perspectives d’employabilité à l’âge adulte. ; The “Filière Bilingue” (FiBi) is a public school based on two-way immersion education in French and German. This longitudinal study evaluates correlations of K-4 FiBi learners’ development of their ability to use the partner language communicatively and the linguistic biographies of learners as well as with those of their parents. This study suggests that the impact of linguistic biographies is more important for French-speaking learners than for their German-speaking peers. Possible explanations of these differences might refer to the diglossic situation in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
