Abstract: A transcript of a Capacity Building Institute (CBI), sponsored by NCSET and the National Center for the Study of Postsecondary Educational Supports, that was held in collaboration with the Annual Pac Rim Conference. Participants increased their understanding of the issues surrounding preparation for and professional employment of individuals with disabilities, network with national leaders in the area of employment, contribute directly to the development of policy recommendations, and built skills and acquired new knowledge. ; Sponsored by the National Center on Secondary Education and Transition (NCSET), University of Minnesota, and the National Center for the Study of Postsecondary Educational Supports (NCSPES), University of Hawaii. Co-sponsored by the Real Choices Project, the Center for the Study of Cultural and Linguistic Diversity and Disability (CLD), and the Hawaii Imua Project.
