Abstract:
Durante mucho tiempo la traducción y la lengua materna del estudiante no han tenido apenas cabida en el aula de idiomas. En los últimos años y gracias a varios estudios, esto ha ido cambiando y dentro del método comunicativo de aprendizaje se han integrado actividades de traducción pedagógica, ya que estas tareas recogen la mayoría de destrezas que el estudiante debe desarrollar para su aprendizaje. Además, aunque todavía puede haber reticencias, la lengua materna del aprendiente puede tener un papel importante en el aprendizaje de un nuevo idioma. En este estudio analizaremos cómo en los manuales de ELE que se utilizan en las escuelas de adultos alemanas (llamadas Volkshochschulen), en los niveles A1, A2 y B1, hay una amplia variedad de este tipo de actividades. Aunque se priorizan las actividades de comunicación y mediación, encontramos en estos manuales una buena representación de este tipo de actividades, así como del uso de la lengua materna de los alumnos. ; Durant molt de temps la traducció i la llengua materna de l'estudiant no han tingut lloc a l'aula d'idiomes. En els últims temps, i gràcies a diversos estudis, aquesta situació ha conviat i la traducció pedagògica s'ha integrat en el mètode comunicatiu, ja que aquestes activitats recullen la majoria de destereses que l'estudiant ha de desenvolupar pel seu aprenentatge. A més, tot i que encara hi hagi certes pors, la llengua materna de l'estudiant pot tenier un paper important a l'aprenentatge d'un nou idioma. En aquest estudi analitzarem com en els manuals de ELE que s'utilitzen a les escoles d'adults alemanyes (Volkshochschulen), en els nivells A1, A2 i B1, hi ha una gran varietat d'aqeust tipus d'activitats. Tot i que es prioritzen les activitats de comunicació i mediació, trobem en aquests manuals una bona representació d'aquest tipus d'activitats, així com de l'ús de la llengua materna dels estudiants. ; Mother tongue and translation have been banned from the language learning process for a long time. In the last years, and due to some studies, this situation has changed and nowadays, translation exercises are easy to be found in the text books that follow the Communicative Methodology. Pedagogical translation activities comprehend all the critical skills that belong to this methodology. Moreover, the mother tongue of the apprentices can have nowadays an important role in the learning process, and it is usually used in the language class, although some may have some reservations. In this study we will analyze how pedagogical translation activities are included in the Spanisch text books for adult learners, in the popular Universities (VHS), for the levels A1, A2 and B1. Even though communication-mediation activities are the priority in these books, we can find a wide range of other types of these activities, as well as good examples of the use of the learner's mother tongue with learning proposes.
