Sin embargo, muchos estudiantes no logran comprenderlos. Según varios autores, esto se debe a la falta de estrategias cognitivas de los alumnos para entender su significado, siendo necesario enseñar a los estudiantes, de un modo directo y explícito, a utilizar estrategias de comprensión lectora. La capacidad de resumir supone la comprensión de los textos escritos. Por ello, este trabajo propone un método para la práctica del resumen en Secundaria con el fin de dotar a los alumnos de estrategias tanto cognitivas como lingüísticas, esperando que les ayude a desarrollar su aptitud para resumir, y , en consecuencia, mejorar su comprensión lectora. ; Ikasketa prozesuan testu idatziek duten garrantzia dela eta, arrakasta eta porrota, neurri handi batean, horien ulermenari dagokio. Hala ere, askotan, ikasleek ez dute irakurritakoa ulertzen. Gehienek testuei aurre egiteko duten baliabide kognitiboen gabezia da, autore askoren ustez, honen arrazoia. Horregatik, irakurmenerako estrategiak modu zuzenean klasean irakastea funtsezkoa da. Laburtzeko gaitasuna idatzizko testuen ulermenerako funtsezko muina izanik, lan honek laburpena modu esplizitoan Bigarren Hezkuntzan lantzea proposatzen du, metodo baten bitartez. Ikasleak estrategia kognitiboez eta linguistikoez baliatuz, hauek laburpen-gaitasuna garatzea espero da, eta, ondorioz, testuen ulermena hobetzea. ; The importance given to written text along the educational process makes school success and failure to be to a large extent due to the understanding of these texts.However, many students fail to understand them.According to several authors, this is due to the lack of cognitive strategies of the students to understand their meaning, being necessary to teach the students, in a direct and explicit way, to use strategies of reading comprehension. The capacity to summarize involves the understanding of written texts.
