Abstract:
Esta pesquisa investigou como se dá a leitura de imagens em livros exclusivamente ilustrados, que não se valem da linguagem verbal, por meio da recepção de leitura. Considerando seu caráter polissêmico, pretendeu-se explorar como as imagens evocam manifestações de diferentes naturezas nos leitores, que, a partir de seu olhar particular, penetram cada vez mais fundo nas camadas de significado proporcionadas pelas obras. Como recorte, foram analisadas considerações sobre os aspectos estéticos do livro colocados pelos leitores ao longo da leitura, evidenciando os elementos que propiciam a construção de sentido. A partir de investigação qualitativa fenomenológica e do referencial teórico, analisou-se as dinâmicas de leitura, realizadas com leitores entre seis e oito anos de idade, registradas por meio de gravações de áudio e filmagens, assim como foram analisadas as considerações de especialistas teóricos e pesquisadores do campo do livro ilustrado, obtidas por meio de entrevistas ou palestras, além das observações efetuadas pela pesquisadora in loco. Como resultado, espera-se ter contribuído para a ampliação de conhecimentos sobre processos de recepção de leitura de imagens, seu significado e modo de apreensão. ; The object of this study is the investigation, through the observation and analysis of reader response, how wordless picture books are read once they do not count on verbal language. Considering their polysemous character, this research intended to explore how images provoke diverse manifestations in readers, who, from their very own perspective, are able to penetrate deeper and deeper layers of meaning offered by the work. The focus of the study was to analyse considerations made towards the book's aesthetic aspects brought up by the readers during the actual act of reading, shedding light on elements that allow the construction of meaning. Based on qualitative phenomenological research and a theoretical corpus, the researcher analysed reading sessions, performed by readers between six and eight years old, which were registered by video and audio. Interviews and lectures by specialists and other studious were analysed too as well as some in loco observations were made. As a result, one hopes to have contributed to broaden the knowledge about the image reader response processes, its meanings and forms of apprehension.
