Abstract: International audience ; Les auteurs de ce numéro de Recherches et Applications décrivent des contextes multilingues dans lesquels le français, en contact avec d’autres langues, est souvent enseigné sans que les politiques linguistiques et les réalités sociales ne s’inscrivent toujours dans la même cohérence et où il faut redonner du sens à l’enseignement pour motiver les apprenants et former les enseignants qui les ont en charge. Ils interpellent à travers leurs textes les responsables et les politiques linguistiques pour que cette langue demeure celle d’une communauté francophone internationale dans laquelle chaque locuteur peut se reconnaitre tout en gardant sa spécificité linguistique et culturelle.
