新聞華語標題之語法分析研究—以聯合新聞網美國牛肉進口新聞為例 ; Research of Syntactic Analysis of Chinese Writing in Newspaper Headlines: Using the United Daily News About U.S. Imported Beef As an Example
Abstract: 由於網路科技日新月異,各種不同類型的網路新聞平臺或彙編,或產製,不但讓網路新聞數量極為豐富,也使得閱聽眾在新聞訊息之取得上變得便利且具自主性。由於新聞華語教學之教材選編應該兼顧現成教材與自編教材,前述網路新聞之特點也使得華語教師在自編教材時更加便利。不過新聞標題雖屬書面語,但由於有字數限制,也為了能吸引讀者目光,所以往往將句式與詞彙作變體,對華語學習者來說,是相當困難的華語語法。因此,本研究透過內容分析法、層次分析法及語義特徵分析法,對網路新聞標題之詞彙與句式結構作語法分析,目的在瞭解網路新聞標題之詞彙性質與句式結構調整之方式,提供選編新聞華語教材時參考。詞彙性質分為四類變體詞彙作討論,分別是重疊詞、雙關詞語、縮略詞語及語詞替代。教學上可優先考慮複現率高的變體詞彙作教學,因為複現率高的詞彙常是讀者熟悉的詞彙,也多為新聞重點所在,若能先習得,有助華語學習者克服閱讀新聞時的困難。此外,由於雙關、縮略及語詞替代之變體詞彙多與原始詞彙歧異,對華語學習者來說,需對原始詞語有一定程度的認知與理解,才容易理解這些詞語令人會心的「笑果」。標題句式結構調整分為兩類,分別為由句子外部形式調整及由句子內部詞彙調整。不過無論是運用標點符號、被與把字句、倒裝句、省略句與譬喻法,大多是為了強調新聞重點與精簡標題,也因此與一般書面語用法產生差異,華語教師在教學上有必要歸納其語法規則並循序教學,使華語學習者閱讀新聞時能更快上手。 ; Due to the rapid advancement of technology, media sources are increasingly supporting online news as a platform, which not only saturates the audience with a rich variety of news but also allows the reading audience the convenience of obtaining their news independently. Because of the convenient access to these online media platforms, CSL teachers are now able to create their own materials and use them with the existing teaching materials. Due to the fact that newspapers want to attract as many readers as possible, headlines are usually written with confusing vocabulary and grammar due to the fact that there is a word limit, and, this, in turn, makes it difficult for the CSL learner to understand. This research paper employs content analysis, AHP and semantic feature analysis as its methodology. The purpose of these analyses is to understand the vocabulary and sentence structures presented in headlines and to provide references for material making. This paper discusses four different types of Chinese vocabulary words: overlapping, puns, acronyms, and substitution words. In teaching, the priority must be the consideration of the usage of high frequency words because the reader has more familiarity with these high frequency words, which is the focus of newspapers. By learning these high frequency words, readers are able to overcome the difficulties of understanding what is written. In addition to using high frequency words, a CSL learner must have a basic level of understanding of original Chinese words meanings because puns, acronyms and substitutions words can often have different meanings because of context. If the CSL learner does not have this basic level, the learner will be prone to make mistakes, which will lead to his usage of the words to be funny. There are two different ways of restructuring a headline: sentence by sentence, which is external, and by changing vocabulary, which is internal. The use of punctuation, inverted sentences, elliptical sentences, and similes emphasizes the point of the headlines and allow the headline to be brief. The aforementioned are the reasons why Chinese news writing is distinctly different than general Chinese writing. The CSL teacher has to summarize Chinese grammar rules and teach step by step in order to allow the learner to read Chinese news at a faster pace.
