Abstract: Целью исследования было выявить, что интенсивная реализация элементов регионального компонента с привлечением региональных данных на уроках английского языка позволяет применять принцип мультикультурализма, который ориентирован на социокультурную группу с ее основными компонентами религиозными, политическими, этническими, языковыми, профессиональными, половыми, возрастными особенности. Обогащение содержания учебной программы данными, относящимися к региону, имеет мотивирующую силу, которая не только способствует развитию у учащихся языковых, социальных и культурных компетенций, но и воспитывает терпимость у учащихся, закрепляя ее в качестве модели поведения. Анализ результатов исследования подтверждает эффективность включения регионального компонента в обучение иностранному языку для воспитания толерантности. Результаты исследования свидетельствуют о том, что региональный компонент в учебной программе предмета способствует лучшему овладению языком, одновременно позволяя решать образовательные ... : The aim of the study was to reveal that the intensive implementation of the elements of the regional component with the involvement of regional data in English lessons allows to apply the principle of multiculturalism, which is focused on a socio-cultural group with its main omponent religious, political, ethnic, linguistic, professional, gender, age characteristics. Enriching the content of the curriculum with region related data has a motivating force that not only contributes to the development of tudent ’ linguistic, social and cultural competencies, but also raises tudent ’ toleran e, consolidating it as a model of behavior. The research results verify the effectiveness of the inclusion of the regional component in teaching a foreign language to raise tolerance.
