Abstract:
Η Ευρώπη του 21ου αι. καλείται να αντιμετωπίσει τις ολοένα αυξανόμενες ροές μεταναστών και προσφύγων, που προκαλούν νέα κοινωνικά δεδομένα. Η κοινωνικές ανακατατάξεις επηρεάζουν άμεσα και το σύγχρονο σχολείο. Το τελευταίο με τη σειρά του οφείλει να διαχειριστεί έναν ετερογενή μαθητικό πληθυσμό που φέρει κοινωνικές, γλωσσικές και πολιτισμικές ετερότητες και ανισότητες. Η συνύπαρξη στο σχολικό περιβάλλον μαθητών από ποικίλα και διαφορετικά πολιτισμικά περιβάλλοντα επιδρά σε εκπαιδευτικές πολιτικές και στα εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα που υλοποιούνται. Στόχος των εκπαιδευτικών δομών είναι να προσαρμοστούν στον πολυπολιτισμικότητα των μαθητών τους και να αντιμετωπίσουν αποτελεσματικά τις ανακύπτουσες ανάγκες τους, προκειμένου να εξασφαλίσουν υψηλή ποιότητα και ισότιμη πρόσβαση στην εκπαίδευση. Όροι και έννοιες, όπως της πολυγλωσσίας, της πολυπολιτισμικότητας και της διαπολιτισμικής εκπαίδευσης κυριαρχούν στην νέα σχολική πραγματικότητα και προσανατολίζουν στην κοινωνική ένταξη και απομακρύνουν από την κοινωνική ... : 21st century Europe is called upon to deal with the growing flows of migrants and refugees, which are causing new social data. The social rearrangements directly affect the modern school. The latter in turn has to manage a heterogeneous student population that bears social, linguistic and cultural diversity and inequalities. The coexistence in the school environment of students from diverse and different cultural backgrounds affects the educational policies and educational programs that are implemented. The aim of the educational structures is to adapt to the multiculturalism of their students and to effectively address their emerging needs, in order to ensure high quality and equity in education. Terms and concepts such as multilingualism, multiculturalism and intercultural education dominate the new school reality and orient towards social inclusion and move away from social marginalization and exclusion.
