Solche Themenbereiche bilden in der Regel den Schwerpunkt für die ersten Lernjahre. Hierbei gewinnt die Fragestellung an Bedeutung, wie die Vermittlungsformen durch Bild und Text anhand der authentischen Materialien und eben damit verbundenen kulturelle Aspekte innerhalb der Lehrwerke organisiert werden. In diesem Zusammenhang ist es interessant, einen Überblick über die vermittelten bildlichen und inhaltlichen Strukturen hinsichtlich der Zielsprache mit all ihren Bezügen zu erlangen, die in den Lehrwerken durch authentischen Materialien zum Vorschein kommen. Weiter ist es von Bedeutung herauszuarbeiten, ob dadurch eine reflexive Vermittlung realistischer Bilder zum Zielsprachenland hervorgerufen werden können, die für den Aufbau der Kulturkompetenz unumgänglich ist. Current course books for German language teaching include subject areas referring to prcatices of dailiy life by the medium of authentic materials. Such subject areas of dailiy life practices prioritises the criteria that constitute the content of course books for beginners. Accordingly this study aims to work out the potential capacity of authentic materials by imparting cultural knowledge about the target language with using pictures and texts that are based on authentic materials. A further purpose of this study is to appraise authentic materials for developing a re?exive understanding of culture which is necesseary for recognizing one's own culture.
