Dans le cadre du projet touristique de la « Mississippi Blues Trail », la route 61 devient patrimoine historique musical. Ce processus de patrimonialisation s’appuie sur une rhétorique de l’authenticité de l’imaginaire des lieux qui évacue toute dimension sociale. De manière inverse, les itinéraires de recherche des Lomax mettent en évidence la dimension mythique des itinéraires du blues en cherchant à construire l’authenticité du blues à travers la circulation de la documentation et des traces. ; Analysis of the construction of blues roads mythologies from the study of the patrimonialization process of the “Mississippi Blues Trail” and from John and Alan Lomax’s research routes. As part of the “Mississippi Blues Trail” tourism project, route 61 becomes a musical and historical heritage. This process of patrimonialization is based on a rhetoric of the authenticity of the imaginary places that evacuates any social dimension. The Lomax research routes highlight the mythical dimension of the blues itineraries while seeking to build the authenticity of the blues through the circulation of documentation and traces. ; Este artículo propone analizar la construcción de mitologías de las rutas del blues con base en el estudio cruzado del proceso de patrimonialización de la “Mississippi Blues Trail” y de los itinerarios de investigación de John y Alan Lomax. En el marco del proyecto turístico de la “Mississippi Blues Trail”, la ruta 61 se convierte en patrimonio histórico musical. Dicho proceso de patrimonialización convoca una retórica de la autenticidad del imaginario de los lugares que evacúa su dimensión social. Por otra parte, los itinerarios de investigación de los Lomax resaltan la dimensión mítica de las rutas del blues al buscar construir su autenticidad por medio de la circulación de la documentación y de sus huellas.
