大學生的自我概念與人際關係之相關研究--以屏東教育大學為例 ; The Relationship between the Self-Concept and Interpersonal Relationship among Students in National Ping-Tung University of Education

Abstract: 教育行政研究所 ; 本研究主要在探討屏東教育大學(以下簡稱屏東教大)學生的自我概念與人際關係之相關。為達到研究目的,首先進行自我概念與人際關係的相關文獻分析,發展出「大學生的生活狀況問卷」作為研究工具。並對屏東教大教育學院、理學院及人文社會學院,各系及各年級共抽取十四個系,四個年級共667人進行正式問卷調查,有效樣本人數為611人。本研究資料之統計分析,除了做描述性統計分析之外,並依據問卷調查樣本背景之不同,進行平均數差異顯著性t考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關及多元迴歸分析等統計方法進行分析,本研究獲得以下結論: 一、屏東教大學生的自我概念表現,以「家庭自我」表現最優,「學業自我」表現較弱。 二、屏東教大學生的人際關係表現,以「家庭關係」表現較佳,「師生關係」則待加強。 三、屏東教大男女學生在整體的自我概念並無顯著差異。但以各層面而言,女生在家庭及學業方面的自我概念較優;男生則在身心方面的健康滿意度較女生為佳。而在與他人互動過程的價值感及對道德方面的看法,男女則無明顯差異。 四、整體而言,屏東教大女生的人際關係較男生為佳,其中男女生與家庭的互動關係差異最明顯;女生與家人的互動關係較男生良好;在同儕關係與異性關係中,男生則較優於女生;師生間之關係男女差異最不明顯。 五、不同背景變項的屏東教大學生除「系別」及「家庭狀況」分別在人際關係的各層面及家庭關係層面有顯著差異外,其他背景變項「學院」、「年級」在人際關係各層面及「家庭狀況」在「師生關係」、「同儕關係」、「異性關係」層面,均未達顯著差異。 六、不同背景變項的屏東教大學生除「學院」、「系別」在「身心自我」層面及「家庭狀況」在「家庭自我」層面達到顯著之差異外,其餘均未達顯著差異。 七、自我概念的正向與否與人際關係之良窳,呈顯著正相關。 八、自我概念中的每一層面對人際關係均有顯著的預測力,其中「社會自我」層面,對整體人際關係預測力最高。 本研究最後根據以上研究結論,提出具體建議,俾供各大學院校教育及輔導工作之參考,期能提昇學生的自我概念及人際關係,建立學生積極正向的人生觀,營造溫馨和諧的社會風氣。 ; The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between the self-concept and interpersonal relationship for the students in National Ping-tung University of Education (NPUE) To achieve the purpose of this study firstly the related literatures of the self-concept and interpersonal relationship were reviewed Then The Questionnaire of College Students’ Living Conditions was developed as an instrument The samples drawn from the colleges of Education Sciences and Liberal Arts and Social Sciences in NPUE were 667 students; fourteen came from each year in each department There were 611 valid samples In addition to descriptive statistics based on the background differences of the samples the statistic analysis was performed with t-test one-way ANOVA Person product-moment correlation multiple regression and so forth The findings were summarized as follows: (1) As for the self-concept of the students in NPUE the degree on “family self-concept was the highest while the one on “school self-concept” was the lowest (2) As for the students’ interpersonal relationship the degree on “family relationship was the highest whereas the one on “relationship between teachers and students” was the lowest (3) Generally the self-concept between male and female students showed no significant difference However to be more specific the females had better self-concepts of family and school than the males Yet the males were more satisfied with the physical and psychological health than the females Regarding the values of peer interaction and moral viewpoints there was no significant difference between genders (4) Generally the females had better interpersonal relationship than the males; a significant difference was shown in the aspect of family interaction For the peer relationship and heterosexual relationship the males performed better than the females The most insignificant difference between genders was found on the relationship between teachers and students (5) Except the departments on every dimension of interpersonal relationship and family conditions on the family relationship which showed significant differences the other variables including the colleges and the years on the interpersonal relationship and the family conditions on the relationship between teachers and students peer interactions heterosexual relationship revealed no significant difference (6) Except the colleges and departments on “physical and psychological self-concept” and the family conditions on “family self-concept” which showed significant differences the other variables revealed no significant difference (7) There was a positive correlation between students’ self-concept and personal relationship (8) “Social self-concept” served as the strongest predictor for the interpersonal relationship Finally according to the results of this study some suggestions were offered for the educational guidance in order to promote students’ self-concept and interpersonal relationship to develop their positive attitudes towards life and to establish a harmonious atmosphere in the society
