Abstract:
This article, considering a historiographic perspective, aims to analyze the proposals for grammar teaching in Criatividade e Gramática (1991[1987]), by Carlos Franchi, in order to observe three elements in relation to the author's proposal: linguistics, grammar and teaching. Our research sets out to understand the rhetoric of rupture with the normative and traditional teaching of the Portuguese language. The main elements of analysis are as follows: the author's rhetoric, the historical framework of his influence, and the necessary teaching position in face of the new conceptions of language. It is understood that there is a specificity of Franchi's thought about the science of language which determines his way of understanding grammar teaching. ; Analisa-se pela perspectiva da historiografia da linguística propostas para ensino de gramática em Gramática e criatividade (1991[1987]), de Carlos Franchi, com o intuito de observar três domínios de saber e prática de saberes em relação à proposta do autor: linguística, gramática e ensino. Pretende-se observar a retórica de ruptura com o ensino normativo e tradicional de língua portuguesa. São elementos de análise a retórica do autor, seu marco histórico de influência e o posicionamento docente necessário frente às novas concepções de língua e linguagem. Entende-se que há uma especificidade do pensamento sobre a ciência da linguagem em Franchi que determina seu modo de compreender o ensino de gramática.
