Analizamos fragmentos de habla de un corpus de 72 entrevistas pertenecientes al corpus PRESEVAL, adscrito al grupo PRESEEA. Los resultados muestran la baja tendencia a utilizar la forma expresa (21,8 %). La aparición del sujeto pronominal se ve favorecida por la persona gramatical, muy especialmente la primera del singular, y la clase semántica de los verbos, sobre todo aquellos que indican estados mentales y actividades. Las variables sociales no son especialmente relevantes, si bien el nivel sociocultural y la lengua utilizada (es una comunidad que utiliza, además del español, el valenciano, variedad de la lengua catalana) sí que han resultado ser estadísticamente significativas. ; This paper studies the determining factors of the presence of the pronominal subject in the metropolitan area of Valencia (Spain). We analyzed fragments of a dialogue from a corpus made by 72 interviews belonging to the PRESEVAL corpus, adscribed to the PRESEEA group. The results show the low tendency to use the express form (21.8%). The appearance of the pronominal subject is favored by the grammatical person, especially the first singular, and the semantic class of verbs, especially those which express mental states and activities. The social variables are not particularly relevant, although the sociocultural level and the language used (Spanish and Valencian, a dialectal variant of Catalan, are both used in the territory) have proved to be statistically significant.
