Il contributo presenta le finalità del progetto VALERE (Varietà Alte di Lingue Europee in REte) ed i corpora di newsgroups utilizzati al suo interno. Dopo l'analisi delle peculiarità linguistiche dei registri alti in italiano, si propone una ricaduta glottodidattica che tenga conto delle varietà diafasiche e della lacuna sinora lamentata in merito nella manualistica per l'insegnamento dell'italiano L2/LS a studenti della scuola secondaria o in ambiente universitario. Studying Italian online has especially regarded the graphic characteristics and the reproduction of spoken language in chats, emails and blogs, while also dedicating attention to diphasic online diversity, especially regarding the formal varieties of the language. This paper presents the aims of the VALERE (Varietà Alte di Lingue Europee in REte) project and the corpora of online news groups. After analyzing the linguistic peculariaties of high registers in Italian, a glottodidactic relapse has been proposed which considers the diphasic diversities and the complained-about lack of textbooks for teaching Italian L2/FL to secondary school or university students.
