Abstract:
Рассматриваются современные исследования метатекста и метаперевода в отечественной и зарубежной лингвистике. Цель статьи обосновать содержание понятий «лингвокультурная адаптация текста», «аппроксимация восприятия текста читателем-инофоном», «ассимиляция текста перевода в принимающей культуре». Научная новизна заключается в описании метапереводческой деятельности как реализации переводческой стратегии, которой следует переводчик, стремясь предварить или снять трудности восприятия иноязычного текста читателем-инофоном. Рассмотрены основные подходы к переводческой деятельности в свете современных культурно-ориентированных концепций перевода. Автором выявлены основные факторы, определяющие создание метатекста. Создавая переводческую инфраструктуру вокруг текста (метапереводческий предтекст, интертекст, послетекст, а в некоторых случаях эпитекст), переводчик прогнозирует возможности восприятия текста любым среднестатистическим читателем, предвосхищает возможные вопросы и программирует проекцию авторского текста в принимающей культуре. Особо отмечено, что в конечном результате перевод исходного текста и созданный вокруг него переводческий метатекст представляют собой целостно-композиционное произведение. В качестве иллюстративного материала использованы метатексты, представляющие собой размышления переводчиков о переводческой деятельности на всех ее этапах, начиная с изучения текста оригинала, заканчивая рефлексией и оценкой текста перевода. В результате проведенного исследования установлено, что создание переводческого периферийного текста, включенного в метапереводческую деятельность, играет существенную роль в гармоничной рецепции текста перевода читателем и последующей ассимиляции перевода в принимающей культуре. Сделан вывод, что метапереводческая деятельность является одной из важнейших стратегий, характеризующих переводческую деятельность в целом. ; The article deals with the contemporary research of metatext (paratext) in Russian and Western linguistics. The article aims at defining such notions as linguocultural context adaptation (localization) of translation, reader’s perception approximation, an accreditation of the translated work and translation assimilation in target culture. The academic novelty of the approach seems to be illustrated in describing the metatext (paratext) as the announced translator’s strategy to ease the passage of the translation into target culture and assist potential reception by the target reader. The major culturally oriented approaches to metatext (paratext) have been researched accordingly. The author elicits the principle factors which inspire the production of metatext. The article maintains the importance of the paratext and paratextual elements infrastructure (translator’s preface, comment, afterword and epitext) in the production and reception of the translated text. The paper carries out a preliminary study on the translators’ epitexts (translator’s interviews on their work, translations made, translator’s role in mediating translated texts to target readers, translation assessment, etc.) as illustrative to the concept of the article. The paper concludes that paratext production as a certain strategy is crucial to the accreditation and assimilation of the translated work in the target culture. Paratranslation, thus, can offer a valuable insight into the translation strategies and can be instrumental in translation research.
