Abstract: Diana Marín. ; Abstract: These lines present a review of the existing literature of interventions aimed at improving the reading competence of students with hearing disabilities, with 17 articles selected. The programs that implied improvements in the reading ability of students are those that prioritize the promotion of literacy skills and the development of phonological awareness. It is concluded that there are numerous successful interventions, but it is necessary to introduce modifications: increase the duration and include a post-intervention follow up, homogenize the groups according to the degree of affectation and symptomatology, extrapolate the intervention to the family context and correctly train professionals.
