Abstract: Η σπουδαιότητα των επισημειωμένων σωμάτων κειμένων μαθητών στη διερεύνηση των μοτίβων και των σταδίων ανάπτυξης του ιδιαίτερου συστήματος της διαγλώσσας μαθητών μιας ξένης γλώσσας έχει ήδη διαπιστωθεί (Bernardini, 2004; Díaz-Negrillo et al., 2013; Flowerdew, 2009; Granger, 2003, 2015; Nesselhauf, 2004; Pravec, 2002). Ωστόσο, οι διαμήκεις μελέτες που διερευνούν την περίπλοκη αλληλοσχέτιση μεταξύ της γλωσσολογικής και πραγματολογικής ικανότητας αναλύοντας τα κείμενα μαθητών όπου έχουν επισημειωθεί τα γλωσσολογικά και πραγματολογικά λάθη είναι ελάχιστες. Η έλλειψη αυτή είναι ακόμη πιο έντονη στον τομέα έρευνας της αγγλικής ως ξένης γλώσσας στην Ελλάδα. Αυτό το κενό αποτέλεσε το έναυσμα για αυτή την διαμήκη μελέτη η οποία στοχεύει στη διερεύνηση των περίπλοκων συστημάτων της γλωσσολογικής και πραγματολογικής ικανότητας στην ξένη γλώσσα όπως αυτή εκφράζεται μέσα από τα επισημειωμένα κείμενα 29 μαθητών της Αγγλικής επιπέδου Γ2 με την Ελληνική ως πρώτη γλώσσα. Η διερεύνηση βασίστηκε στη χρήση ενός καινοτόμου και ... : The importance of error-tagged learner corpora in exploring the patterns and developmental stages of L2 learners’ unique interlanguage system has already been established (Bernardini, 2004; Díaz-Negrillo et al., 2013; Flowerdew, 2009; Granger, 2003, 2015; Nesselhauf, 2004; Pravec, 2002). However, there is a scarcity of longitudinal studies investigating the complex interrelation between linguistic and pragmatic competence through an analysis of learners’ texts annotated for linguistic and pragmatic errors. This scarcity is even more evident in the Greek EFL research body. This lacuna has motivated this longitudinal study which aims to investigate the intricate systems of L2 linguistic and pragmatic competence as manifested through 29 C2-level L1 Greek EFL learners’ error-tagged texts using a novel standardised error-tagging system.
