El cas d'anàlisi triat va ser el subsector La Colmena al centre històric de Quito, un territori que ha tingut moltes transicions històriques amb poblacions indígenes i mestisses provinents de l'onatge migratori des del camp i motivades per l'ocupació i serveis en petites fàbriques i indústries en el centre de la ciutat. Després, en els anys setanta i vuitanta va ser habitat per poblacions vinculades a la feina en els mercats populars i comerç informal. Més tard, aquest subsector va ser assenyalat des dels mitjans de comunicació com un dels llocs més perills i violents de la ciutat. En aquesta temporalitat van existir pràctiques entre consentiments i pactes que van generar violències en la societat quiteña, com va ser el personatge de terror i por denominat la "Mama Lucha" que es considera com la memòria negada de la quiteñidad. El subsector La Colmena és part de el centre de la ciutat i voreja el centre històric, sector perifèric en constant dialèctica i contraposició amb l'àrea patrimonial de l'Districte Metropolità de Quito. On s'ha desvetllat la marginalitat i la segregació amb pràctiques de diferenciació i distanciament producte de l'estigmatització poblacional i territorial cap als seus habitants. La investigació va posar en discussió l'agenda patrimonial vigent, atès que el subsector La Colmena està fora de tota iniciativa social, cultural i política de govern local. No obstant això, la participació de barri i l'apropiació dels espais públics pels habitants de l'subsector han aconseguit disminuir l'estigmatització de barri, amb un seguit d'activitats socioculturals i festives. Resultant un territori amb narratives sobre la vida de barri, processos de memòria i participació. Al fin, el document descriu el ritual urbà de la "matança" dramatitzat per la dansa de la Yumbada, a les festes nadalenques, com una experiència de materialització de l'consentiment i pacte, protagonitzada per poblacions indígenes i mestisses urbanes en el subsector La Colmena i seus voltants. ; El presente trabajo de investigación ha sido desarrollado en Quito, capital del Ecuador. El caso de análisis elegido fue el subsector La Colmena en el centro histórico de Quito, un territorio que ha tenido muchas transiciones históricas con poblaciones indígenas y mestizas provenientes del oleaje migratorio desde el campo y motivadas por el empleo y servicios en pequeñas fábricas e industrias en el centro de la ciudad. Luego, en los años setenta y ochenta fue habitado por poblaciones vinculadas al trabajo en los mercados populares y comercio informal. Más tarde, dicho subsector fue señalado desde los medios de comunicación como uno de los sitios más peligros y violentos de la ciudad. En esa temporalidad existieron prácticas entre consentimientos y pactos que generaron violencias en la sociedad quiteña, como fue el personaje de terror y miedo denominado la "Mama Lucha" que se considera como la memoria negada de la quiteñidad. El subsector La Colmena es parte del centro de la ciudad y bordea el centro histórico, sector periférico en constante dialéctica y contraposición con el área patrimonial del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito. Donde se ha develado la marginalidad y la segregación con prácticas de diferenciación y distanciamiento producto de la estigmatización poblacional y territorial hacia sus habitantes. La investigación puso en discusión la agenda patrimonial vigente, dado que el subsector La Colmena está fuera de toda iniciativa social, cultural y política del gobierno local. Sin embargo, la participación barrial y la apropiación de los espacios públicos por los moradores del subsector han logrado disminuir la estigmatización barrial, con una serie de actividades socioculturales y festivas. Resultando un territorio con narrativas sobre la vida barrial, procesos de memoria y participación. Al final, el documento describe el ritual urbano de la "matanza" dramatizado por la danza de la Yumbada, en las fiestas navideñas, como una experiencia de materialización del consentimiento y pacto, protagonizada por poblaciones indígenas y mestizas urbanas en el subsector La Colmena y sus alrededores. ; This research work has been developed in Quito, capital of Ecuador. The case of analysis chosen was the La Colmena subsector in the historic center of Quito, a territory that has had many historical transitions with indigenous and mestizo populations originating from the migratory waves from the countryside and motivated by employment and services in small factories and industries in the city center. Then, in the seventies and eighties it was inhabited by populations linked to work in popular markets and informal commerce. Later, this subsector was pointed out by the media as one of the most dangerous and violent places in the city. In that temporality, there were practices between consents and pacts that generated violence in Quito's society, such as the character of terror and fear called the "Mama Lucha" that is considered as the memory denied of Quito. The La Colmena subsector is part of the city center and borders the historic center, a peripheral sector in constant dialectic and contrast with the patrimonial area of the Metropolitan District of Quito. Where marginality and segregation have been revealed with practices of differentiation and distancing product of the population and territorial stigmatization towards its inhabitants. The investigation put into discussion the current patrimonial agenda, since the La Colmena subsector is outside any social, cultural and political initiative of the local government. However, neighborhood participation and the appropriation of public spaces by residents of the subsector have managed to reduce neighborhood stigmatization, with a series of sociocultural and festive activities. Resulting in a territory with narratives about neighborhood life, processes of memory and participation. In the end, the document describes the urban ritual of the "slaughter"dramatized by the Yumbada dance, in the Christmas holidays, as an experience of materialization of consent and pact, carried out by indigenous and mestizo urban populations in the La Colmena subsector and its surroundings. ; Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
